There are two approaches to connect Interloop with Salesforce.
To use OAuth to connection to Salesforce, you simply need to login with Salesforce user to retrieve an access token. Interloop uses this access token to connect with your Salesforce instance.
To get started, click "Log In With Salesforce". This will open a separate window that you can use to authenticate with your instance.
Allow Interloop access to Salesforce by selecting Authorize.
If you authenticate successfully, you will be redirected and see the successful connection page in the authentication window.
Using the Security Token approach, you can enter your username, password, and security token to authenticate against Salesforce.
Your security token isn’t displayed in your settings or profile. It would have been emailed to you when you set up your account or the last time you reset your password.
To reset your Security Token:
Go to Settings –> My Personal Information –> Reset My Security Token
Click Reset Security Token. The new security token is sent to the email address in your Salesforce personal settings.
You should then copy your security token from your email and paste it into the form field in Interloop.
Please Note
A new security token is emailed to you when you reset your password. After your token is reset, you can’t use an old token in third party applications. We recommend creating a specific integration user in Salesforce to connect with the AIAD Platform.
Once you have provided the correct configuration options, you can create the Salesforce source by clicking the blue "Create" button. If everything works correctly, you will see a new Source on the "Sources" page.
Can I connect to more than one Salesforce Instance? Yes! Simply create a new Source and connect to the other Salesforce instance.
Why is the OAuth option automatically logging me in?
Your credentials for Salesforce may be cached in your browser. You may want to open a browser window in Incognito mode to ensure you can login correctly.
