Mailchimp is a marketing and email platform that contains tools and applications to automate marketing services.

Authentication

Mailhchimp uses OAuth to authenticate.

OAuth

To use OAuth to connection to Mailchimp, you simply need to login with Intercom user to retrieve your authentication. Interloop uses this account information to connect with your Mailchimp instance.

To get started, click "Log In With Mailchimp". This will open a separate window that you can use to authenticate with your instance.

Allow Interloop access to Mailchimp by selecting Authorize.

If you authenticate successfully, you will be redirected and see the successful connection page in the authentication window.

This separate authentication window will close automatically and you will be directed back to the Create new Mailchimp Source Modal.

FAQ's

Can I connect to more than one Mailchimp Instance? Yes! Simply create a new Source and connect to the other Intercom instance.

Why is the OAuth option automatically logging me in?

Your credentials for Mailchimp may be cached in your browser. You may want to open a browser window in Incognito mode to ensure you can login correctly.
